Les titres de romans noirs et policiers francophones : une approche onomastique

This study proposes an onomastic analysis of French crime fiction titles, based on a corpus covering the period from 1932 to 2025. The analysis will be structured around three main axes. Firstly, the formation patterns of the titles will be examined. Secondly, the macro-syntactic structure of the titles will be analysed to propose a detailed typology. Finally, intertextual titles as well as titles that use wordplay, graphical devices, and phonostylistic effects will also be considered.
