Étude de l’activité épilinguistique de jeunes argotiers : des masques identitaires ?

In this work, I propose to highlight the treatment granted to the Other by examining the sociolinguistic representations formulated in the epilinguistic speeches of young slang speakers, extracted from a corpus composed of two fields: one ours, the other from Multicultural Paris French. Here I will therefore analyze their evaluations of the language using a grid of functions based on contemporary slang analysis. Questioning epilinguistic productions encourages the examination of the relationship that the speaker maintains with the norm, and, as such, this paper will benefit from insights into the sociology of deviance.
