Voix féminines dans la correspondance états-unienne adressée à Zola : une poétique de l'altérité féminine transculturelle

Élise Cantiran

This article is a part of the reflection on Zola's correspondence coming from anonymous international people. As those archives have been rising recently, some consequent work have stated the fact that women around the World are taking the opportunity to write to the famous Zola during the late Nineteenth Century to show their particular voice. This paper aims to pursue this thinking by studying the singular alterity of the exiled women in the United States, a country where a lot of French people have settled in, especially in Louisiana. The theoretical framework includes the recent works about epistolary enunciation to study the Poetic of Self and Alterity in our corpus.
